Chemical leasing (ChL) in the industrial component cleaning technology goes a significant step further than contract cleaning and therefore is a separately defined concept. Beside the economic considerations of use and consumption of chemicals, the concept of chemical leasing also considers ecological aspects and requires a fundamentally different approach in cooperation between customer, chemicals supplier and manufacturer of the component cleaning plants. The term ChL may be misleading (however, it has been established in the market for years), because this particular type of triangle relationship has nothing to do with the leasing of chemicals.
PERO is the only cleaning plant manufacturer currently realising active projects with chemical leasing.
The concept of ChL in the component cleaning technology originated from Austria at the onset of the millennium – it was developed by the Austrian Ministry of the Environment in cooperation with UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization).
Right from the start, we had been enthused by the idea, and we founded an independent company for it in Austria, PERO Innovative Services GmbH in Weiz near Graz.
Since September 2005, we have been successfully practicing chemical leasing there. The objective of all those involved - to reduce the amount of chemicals consumed even more significantly and to simultaneously achieve the required cleanliness of the components – could be achieved.
