A distinction is made between two types of cleaning agents which are typically used for wet chemical cleaning:

 

  • Solvent (non-halogenated / halogenated hydrocarbons, hydrochlorofluorocarbons, polar solvents, etc.)
  • Aqueous Media

The media choice concerns the overall process of cleaning and is affected by the following criteria:

  • Components (art, geometry, size, solvent sensitivity, material, etc.)
  • Contamination (polar, nonpolar, oils, greases, pastes, graphite, etc.)
  • Production flow (parts Transport, Part way between cleaning or cleaning, etc.)
  • Quantity framework (impact on the plant type, influence of the media on the cleaning cycle)

We are happy to offer you the possibility to define the optimal cleaning agent for your cleaning task at our

local facilities. To this end, we invite you to come to one of our 7 test centers to perform cleaning tests on

your original dirty parts.
